The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust provides acute services to the populations of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, and parts of Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, North Norfolk and Breckland. In view of its geographic position on the borders of Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, the Trust is commissioned by clinical commissioning groups from these three counties, to provide acute hospital services. Our lead commissioner is Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group.

This week's Team of the Week is our Frailty Same Day Emergency Care team. The team have demonstrated real commitment to the care of our frail population, focusing on high quality comprehensive assessments from medical, nursing and therapy staff in a timely and holistic manner. The team came together and used their shared experience and passion for delivering high quality care to some of our locality’s most vulnerable patients – they have been inspirational.
