Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a special breakfast at our Head Office in support of the Brilliant Breakfast campaign. Throughout March, across our stores, Contact Centre, and Head Office, we are proud to continue supporting our charity partner, The King’s Trust, in raising vital funds and awareness to help transform the lives of young women. As the smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the room and the first bites of warm pastries were shared, our teams came together for a morning of connection and conversation. Over a delicious breakfast, we settled in for an inspiring panel discussion with our CEO, Paula, alongside Julia, from The King's Trust and Carrissa, a charity ambassador. They shared powerful stories of resilience and opportunity, highlighting how The King’s Trust equips young women with the skills, confidence, and support to build their futures - including launching their own businesses. A highlight of the morning was Carrissa’s inspiring success story. With the support of The King’s Trust, she founded her business, Keep Me Curvy, turning her vision into reality. A huge thank you to everyone who attended. It was a fantastic morning to get our teams together, show our support and raise money for an incredible cause.

Even in our busiest periods, finding ways to connect as a team makes all the difference. Recently, our People Team brought a little extra joy to the office with a TWC Bake Off, spanning a six-week celebration of homemade treats and friendly competition. From pinecone brownies to New York-style cookies, our bakers truly delivered!   Of course, every competition must have a winner. We caught up with Issy, our crowned Bake Off champion, to learn more about her show-stopping creation.   "It was so much fun to take part in the TWC Bake Off! Everyone put in so much effort, and I really enjoyed making my chosen bakes. I created two NYC-style cookie flavours: Terry’s Chocolate Orange and White Chocolate Gingerbread. Having experimented with different cookie flavours for a while, I stuck to something I felt confident in. I’m glad everyone enjoyed them and will certainly be putting my apron to good use!"   A great reminder of the importance of stepping away from our desks, taking a break, and making time for creativity and connection.

Exciting news from Bicester! Our store is moving to a beautiful new location right in the heart of Bicester Village. Opening in late June/early July, this stunning space is expected to be one of our busiest yet - bringing our customers an even more inspiring shopping experience. With a more spacious layout and an expanded product range (including a full-price selection across all categories), this will be THE destination for timeless style. As we get ready for this next chapter, we’re looking for a Deputy General Manager to join General Manager, Catherine, and the fantastic Bicester team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our new store - leading and inspiring your managers and team, driving commercial and operational excellence, and creating an outstanding experience for every customer who walks through our doors. Last week, we were sharing the love across the business as we celebrated Valentine's Day. From hot chocolate stations and afternoon teas in Head Office to notes of gratitude and heartfelt decorations in our Retail back of house areas, our teams created meaningful moments to recognise and appreciate one another. It was wonderful to see everyone's involvement, with colleagues coming together to share a little love!

Last week, we were delighted to bring our teams together for our 2025 Company Conference. It was an exciting opportunity for teams to get together, look back on the past year and celebrate the incredible work that has been happening behind the scenes. The day was dedicated to unwrapping our new company strategy with our Operating Board, hearing about the exciting opportunities ahead and a number of strategic initiatives that are at play. We also took time to recognise the resilience and dedication of our employees with the TWC Awards, celebrating individuals who have made outstanding contributions over the past year. We’re incredibly excited to put our strategy into action across the coming months, continue to build our strong, collaborative culture, and deliver exceptional experiences for all our customers. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it a TWC Conference to remember.
