The new-look boatshed at Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour is taking shape, as we get ready for spring rentals for the sailing season in 2025. Steel framework adaptations and the roof have been completed, ready for final external building work in the new year. British Marine joins growing coalition urging Government to rethink its Inheritance Tax plans. British Marine is urging the Government to reconsider its plans to drastically cut Business Property Relief (BPR) and Agricultural Property Relief (APR) on Inheritance Tax (IHT), calling for a formal consultation on the Chancellor’s plans, highlighting the devastating consequences of applying a 20% IHT on family-run marine businesses.
