Leicester is a vibrant city with a rapidly growing and diverse population, including students, young professionals, and families. With two universities, the city has a large student population, many of whom stay after graduation, fuelling demand for quality rental accommodation. The city’s economy has been diversifying, with growth in sectors such as technology, logistics, healthcare, and retail. Compared to larger cities like London or Birmingham, Leicester offers more affordable living, which makes it appealing to professionals and families looking to rent in a well-connected yet lower-cost city. Leicester has also seen significant regeneration, particularly in areas like the Waterside, which have attracted BTR schemes. The ongoing regeneration efforts are improving the city’s infrastructure, making it more appealing to both residents and investors.
