𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲: Tyler Speight ✨ Tyler Speight from Sheffield recently completed our Level 3 Commercial Catering Gas Engineering #Apprenticeship. Not only has Tyler successfully completed her apprenticeship with Advance Group, but she also won the Foodservice Equipment Association (FEA)’s “Apprentice of the Year” award after being nominated by her employer. We caught up with Tyler to discuss her experience, where she was full of praise for her Tutor, Steve, and the rest of the team for helping to support her throughout her training. 🎥 Watch: 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿! 🏆 We recently caught up with one of our Gas Engineering #Apprentices, Tyler Speight, after she won the Foodservice Equipment Association (FEA)'s Apprentice of the Year Award ✨ Along with the award, Tyler also bagged a cash prize, and a bursary covering the cost of participating in the Principles of Foodservice (PFS) and Certified Food Service Professional (CFSP) courses, which are run by FEA. In this short video, we ask Tyler about her experience, from finding out she had been nominated, to the awards night itself, and what it meant to her to win such a prestigious award. 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 ✨ Abdumalek from Greater #London recently completed our Level 3 course in Networking & Cybersecurity, after previously gaining a Level 2 Diploma in Digital & IT Skills 🙌 The Networking & Cybersecurity course is designed to help learners develop and extend their digital and IT skills to prepare for different roles in network support and digital design, with a view to securing a role working in IT and #Cybersecurity. Abdumalek provided some comprehensive feedback about his learning experience with us, as well as offering some insightful advice for anyone else who wish to enrol on the course. 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 ✨ As part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, our Works4U team in the North East is able to deliver employability support for local residents. In partnership with The North East Combined Authority, our programme focuses on supporting economically inactive residents of the area to improve and enhance their confidence and skills, with a view to progressing them towards the labour market. One participant who recently received our support as part of the programme is Qurrat from #Newcastle, who tells her story of how her Key Support Worker (John) was able to instil a newfound confidence in her abilities.
