If I have noticed one thing over the Christmas season, it's this: Real joy is in giving. When we started out selling our home-made biscuits and cakes at market stalls, everything was D2C. The pivot to the gifting world made all the difference. To our margins (as the product became more refined, personalised, and in high-quality packaging), but also to how we felt about it. People chose our products to make other people smile. The ripple effect is real.
