Sonic The Hedgehog at the races! We were delighted to be asked by our Partner Paramount Pictures to create a unique piece of bespoke content around the new Sonic 3 movie, tapping into our family audience across the group. Filmed at Cheltenham Racecourse with seven racehorses and jockeys, it was a brilliant team effort across our internal content, social & partnership teams, as well as production company, Equine Productions and of course Paramount's amazing team too.

Last month we hosted our inaugural Jockey Club Group Partner Day at the The Jockey Club Rooms in Newmarket. The day began with a visit to Charlie Fellowes Racing, who gave us a tour of his yard, followed by a visit to the famous Warren Hill to watch the horses work on the gallops under the glorious Newmarket sunshine. The day provided a fantastic opportunity for our group partners to come together, share updates, and discuss how we can maximise their partnership. It was an exciting platform for partners to make new connections throughout the day and further enhance the opportunities available to be a part of The Jockey Club family. We look forward to reuniting again in the future for another Partner Day in 2025.

We were absolutely thrilled to pick up the Chairman’s Award for our community partnership with Gallagher at the RCA Showcase Awards a week ago today! The partnership is the first to lead with a primary objective which is purely community-driven, offering experiences outside of race days for young audiences from diverse and disadvantaged communities to learn more about the racing industry and the many career opportunities it has to offer. The organisation and execution of these experience days is a huge team effort and there are too many to thank here but, in particular our thanks to Gallagher, all those across the various The Jockey Club and Jonjo and AJ O'Neill, Hugo Palmer Racing and Jim Boyle for their standout yard visits. Our thanks to the RCA as well for organising yet another fantastic evening to celebrate our industry’s special achievements.

The next in our ‘Meet the Partners’ series is J. & G. Grant - Glenfarclas who have sponsored the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham Racecourse for over 15 years. 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼? We are Glenfarclas Distillery, one of Scotland’s most historic and family-owned whisky producers, with a legacy spanning five generations. Located in the heart of Speyside, we are known for crafting rich, complex Single Malts using traditional methods. Perfecting our craft for over 185 years, we are passionate about preserving the art of whisky-making, using pure spring water from the Ben Rinnes mountain and age-old techniques that ensure our spirit's quality and character are second to none. Our commitment to excellence has earned us a dedicated following amongst whisky lovers around the world, who appreciate the depth and quality of our range, from the approachable Glenfarclas 10-Year-Old to the distinguished The Family Casks series. We are proud to be independently family-owned, allowing us to maintain our values and standards without compromise. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯? The Jockey Club’s reputation for tradition, excellence, and community perfectly complements our values here at Glenfarclas. Partnering with them to sponsor the Glenfarclas Cross Country Steeplechase at the Cheltenham Festival felt like a natural fit, allowing us to bring our brand closer to an audience that appreciates both heritage and high-quality experiences. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲/𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽/𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽? It’s always special to see Glenfarclas Distillery associated with such a celebrated and unique event as the Glenfarclas Cross Country Steeplechase. Watching the thrill of the race unfold at Cheltenham, with Glenfarclas banners lining the course, never fails to capture the spirit of our brand. We are immensely proud of last year having released a 15 Year Old Cheltenham Edition whisky, which celebrated 15 years of our sponsorship. On the back are the past 15 winners, and we invite those who purchase a bottle to remember and reflect on previous winners such as Balthazar King, Tiger Roll and Delta Work. https://lnkd.in/eD3nDHcT

Congratulations to our brilliant Carlisle Racecourse grounds team!
Still on a high from The Racecourse Association Ltd Showcase Awards last night at The Signet Library Edinburgh - a stunning venue where our fantastic Grounds Team, led by Harry Phipps, were crowned Groundstaff Champions 2024. A very deserving award for an incredibly hard working team. Thank you to the judges and everyone involved in organising this great event.
