What drives this behaviour? 🧠 Psychological principles like d̶e̶i̶n̶d̶i̶v̶i̶d̶u̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶, collective behaviour, and social proof play a major role in how crowds react at high-energy events. 🔵 New Guidance on Temporary Vehicle Security Barriers (VSBs) from NPSA & NaCTSO 🔵 The National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) and the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) have issued important new guidance on the use of temporary Vehicle Security Barriers (VSBs) as part of Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) strategies. This guidance is particularly relevant for local authorities, event organisers, and security professionals. Understanding the threat landscape and conducting comprehensive risk assessments are key first steps in ensuring effective security solutions.
