A great conference for Practice Managers today by Suffolk LMC and PMA, 👏👏 Gemma Falcao and Megan Chapman It was lovely to catch up with Katy Drew, a real expert on practice finance. It was a also chance to make some great new connections, thank you Jordan Russell, Matt Sweeney, Jason Scott. Showing Edwina Farrell I’m not an 🪓 axe murderer is definitely the biggest takeaway. Thoroughly enjoyable, death defying drive home, and I just think there might be some things we will be able to plot together.

I am looking forward to #3 of #8 in our webinar series - exploring ‘Well-Led’ and CQC Compliance with the The Well-Led Practice and Dr Clare Sieber! This month we are discussing the Quality Statement, ‘Freedom To Speak Up’... During the webinars we discuss a range of recently published CQC reports, ranging from ratings of ‘Inadequate’ to ‘Outstanding’ and this month the research has proven very limited! Apart from the standard statements to confirm services DO or DO NOT have a Freedom To Speak Up Champion there is not much else to demonstrate CQC Compliance in this specific area… However, when you explore this Quality Statement in more detail it is looking at areas such as, how leaders ‘actively promote staff empowerment to drive improvement,’ and ‘promote the value of [raising concerns].’ We will be asking our experts in Practice Management, Gary Hughes MBA and Ketan Bhatt some tough questions and discussing the Francis Report in detail, but we would love to hear from you about what ‘Freedom To Speak Up’ means in practice!
