Yesterday we had a visit from the lovely Gemma and Christian from Helplines Partnership as they delivered a workshop for our young people. As part of the run up to #Helplinesawarenessday2025, the campaign emphasises the power of helplines and what it is like to contact and engage with helplines and the diversity that’s offered. Gemma and Christian discussed not only what it’s like to reach out for support, but also the career and development opportunities that often are available. Thank you👏.

It’s day two of our Helplines Awareness Campaign and we’re back in Leeds, speaking to students about the support available to them. Our comms lead @Liz Champion will be at Leeds Trinity University’s City Campus from 11.30am until 2pm. If you or anyone you know wants to talk, our Find a Helpline directory puts them in touch with the right support for them. https://buff.ly/3qE127C

We’ve had a really busy few weeks at Thrive with some really amazing sessions and events that we’d love to shout about this morning. - We hosted the third session of Future Flourish, a development programme led by Chris from Manifestive CIC and funded by LCVS. Great to see the group so enthusiastic and curious when learning about new topics, and all committed to improving their well-being. ✨ - Another of our Coffee Afternoons working with DWP referrals to introduce them to our service at Thrive. Happy to announce that all who attended signed up to work with us.👏 - Some of the DWP Digital team visited us and led a really interesting and practical ‘Insight to Media’ information session for our young people interested in media production, even letting them have a go behind the camera🎥.

Session 3 of our Manifestive CIC Future Flourish funded by Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS). It was a pleasure being back at the wonderful Thrive Careers Hub. We intended to run the session outdoors in nature, however the freezing temperatures and half the group struck down with colds meant we stayed indoors. Tremendous engagement today as the young people explored Chimp Management L. and how understanding and managing our chimps, can play a vital role in improved confidence, resilience & understanding/living by our values. The group were really engaged and have committed to practicing daily development to support their journey. I absolutely love this programme and working with these outstanding young adults who do our City proud. #chimp, #mindmanagement #development #community #liverpool

Huge thank you to Tammy from The Learning Foundry for visiting us today, especially as it’s #NationalApprenticeshipWeek2025. We partner with TLF by having Tammy at Thrive every 2 weeks to talk to our young people about all of the study programmes, adult learning programmes, skills bootcamps and apprenticeship opportunities they can offer. Thanks so much👏.

Huge thank you to the amazing Hair and Media Makeup students from The City of Liverpool College for our first “How to look and feel your best for Interview” session. The students very kindly visited us on Thursday afternoon to provide 4 young people with free hair styling and makeup, giving tips and techniques to recreate themselves at home, all with the intention of feeling their best at interview.💄💇♀️ It was an absolute pleasure to partner with COLC for this session, and we look forward to running more together in the future. 🤝
