As we navigate an increasingly complex world, it is evident that the crises we face are not isolated events but the consequences of deep-rooted systemic issues, some of which have been intensified by current business practices. However, businesses also hold the potential to be a pivotal part of the solution. Whether you’re leading a company or part of a team, your influence matters. By engaging your organisation to take action, you can multiply your impact and help drive the change we so urgently need. Just 12% of the UN Sustainable Development Goals are currently on track, and time is running out to achieve this global shift. In the build-up to Climate Week, Togetherband is doubling your positive impact for every band sold this month. For any successful referral to a business that makes a purchase, we will also send you a Together Product of your choice. Got a question or ready to get started? Please email togetherband@bottletop.org to discuss how we can elevate your company’s sustainability commitments. #sdgs #sustainabledevelopmentgoals #globalgoals #climateweek

At #TOGETHERBAND, we believe in the power of collective action to drive gender equality. This International Women’s Day – March 8, 2025 – we invite businesses like yours to champion Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality, a cause at the heart of sustainable development and inclusive growth. Let’s work together to rewrite that timeline and create a better world for future generations. By partnering with us, your organisation can: Celebrate the Women of Your Team: Commemorate their contributions with bespoke #TOGETHERBANDs that symbolise your commitment to a more equitable future. Amplify Your Impact: Share your International Women’s Day initiatives on social media with our custom content kits designed for maximum engagement. Thanks to everyone who joined our TOGETHERBAND panel at Arctic Basecamp at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where we discussed the critical role of Indigenous leadership in the protection of biodiversity and the mitigation of climate change. Moderated by CEO of FleishmanHillard Brazil Ana Domingues, I was joined by Patricia Zurita, Chief Strategy Officer of Conservation International and Priscila Tapajowara, President of Midia Indigena, a Brazilian Indigenous communication collective working to promote and preserve Indigenous cultures. ‘There is no way to create a ‘new generation of income’ without its implementation being aligned with the conservation of the planet’s biological and climatic balance, as well as the preservation of traditional knowledge. Scientific evidence shows that the business community cannot succeed in its Climate and Biodiversity goals without partnering with and obtaining the consent of indigenous peoples.’ Priscila Tapajowara. Indigenous communities possess generations of accumulated ecological knowledge, which informs adaptive practices that enhance ecosystem resilience, such as agroforestry, rotational farming, and water conservation methods. Patricia shared insights about the impactful work that Conservation International has carried out in Brazil where they work hand in hand with 38 Indigenous communities and successfully worked to strengthen the autonomy of Kayapo women by promoting technical skills anchored in culture through the creation of 39 sewing houses in 39 communities — space for work, sharing, support and joy, engaging 594 people. I shared the journey of our work with the Yawanawá in Acre and our vision to scale this program to create economic opportunity for Indigenous communities through art and crafts which represent and reinforce their cultural identities. Heartfelt thanks to our friends at Arctic Basecamp, Netza&CO, UNDP Equator Initiative, Sumauma, Midia Indigena, Conservation International and the Amazon Investor Coalition for partnering with us to enable this discussion. #wef25 #bioeconomy #demarcacaoja

Today is International Day of the World’s Indigenous People, a day to celebrate and recognise Indigenous Communities around the world. We can’t protect the planet without the traditional knowledge and sustainable agriculture practices of Indigenous peoples. When their collective rights to lands and territories are protected, forests thrive, alongside their societies. The survival of these communities is crucial to the protection of our planet and it is a huge loss to our world if they cease to exist. We could not be more proud to partner with the Yawanawá Indigenous community on our Yawa #TOGETHER collection, which supports the expression of their culture and way of life with a Rainforest Workshop & Atelier. Handcrafted by members of the Yawanawá in the Brazilian Amazon, the Yawa #TOGETHERBAND is a physical symbol – a seed of hope – that we can keep and wear, to preserve and protect the natural world and help inspire us to take action. It's #PlasticFreeJuly! Today, we produce over 300 million tonnes of plastic waste every year. That equates to the weight of nearly the entire human population! Even worse, nearly half of that is single-use plastic and a whopping 91% of the world’s plastic still isn’t recycled. Instead, it ends up in landfill, being burnt, littering our countryside or polluting our oceans. For every foot of coastline around the world, there’s the equivalent of five grocery bags of plastic waste, endangering wildlife and releasing harmful microplastics into our seas. One innovative company Parley for the Oceans has found a brilliant way to tackle the issue, so we were thrilled to partner with them for some genius recycling. Every #TOGETHERBAND rope is made from 100% Parley Ocean Plastic®️, created from plastic waste intercepted by Parley from remote islands, shorelines, waters and coastal communities.

RADICAL OPTIMISM FOR A HEALTHY PLANET In a time of growing climate anxiety and mental health issues, it's crucial that we nurture ourselves, one another and the world around us. From the escalating climate emergency and loss of biodiversity to widening inequality and ongoing conflicts devastating communities, it seems like the 17 UN SDGs for a healthy planet are becoming further and further from our collective reach. In times like these, the most radical and rebellious choice we can make is to be optimistic. Introducing the new Smiley x #TOGETHERBAND, a powerful symbol of positivity, joy and radical optimism. These bands are a personal reminder to be kind and loving towards ourselves. Fundamentally, they are an invitation to smile. Happy #EarthDay! 🌍 🌱🌊 The #TOGETHERBAND campaign started on Earth Day 2019, and today we turn FIVE!! It's been an extraordinary journey. From creating ateliers with artisans in Kathmandu and the Amazon rainforest to staging global events and building a family of Ambassadors and members of the public; all sharing personal stories about why the UN Sustainable Development Goals - our route map for a healthy planet - matter. In the process we have planted 45,950 trees, provided 173,137 meals, cleared 155, 207 kilos of ocean plastic, funded 253,769 hours of artisan craftsmanship, recycled over 1 tonne of illegal firearm metal and distributed over $2m projects advancing the Goals on the ground. None of it could have been possible without your support. But the fight for a healthy planet doesn’t stop. With the escalating climate crisis, inequality, loss of biodiversity, and the wars being experienced by communities around the world it seems like the 17 SDGs are being pushed further and further from our collective reach, but #TOGETHER we still have the power to change our current trajectory. Join us! BOTTLETOP #SDGs #GlobalGoals
