Toppesfield operates extensively in the highways and major infrastructure sectors, delivering a full suite of surfacing and associated services including, but not limited to, surfacing, planing, reinforcement grids, anti-skid and lining. After a major traffic incident on National Highways' strategic network yesterday, our team swiftly responded to carry out emergency resurfacing on a critical section of the elevated A2 Jubilee Way, near the Port of Dover. This vital route connects the UK’s busiest international ferry port to the rest of the country and Europe. Thanks to the quick mobilisation and dedication of our ToppTeam, we efficiently replaced the damaged carriageway, ensuring traffic kept flowing during the busy pre-Christmas season. We’re thrilled to announce Elle Brimson (Conway) has been promoted to Contracts Director for our Midlands & North Division, joining our Board of Directors. Elle’s journey with us started back in 2017 when she joined Toppesfield as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor at our Head Office in Ipswich. In 2020, Elle relocated to Derby to take on the role of Managing Quantity Surveyor for our Midlands and North Division, where she worked closely with our operations team to help drive growth and commercial success in the region. Her contributions also strengthened our ToppBase® materials and recycling business, bringing innovative solutions and enhanced value to our clients. Earlier this year, Elle stepped up again, becoming General Manager for the Midlands & North. In this role, she has taken responsibility for both commercial and operational excellence, ensuring our clients receive the best of Toppesfield’s commitment and expertise.
