The Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) is a not-for-profit professional body formed in 1881. We have members in the public and private sectors in the UK and abroad. CTSI supports the trading standards industry, leading to fairer, better informed and safer businesses and communities. CTSI encourages honest enterprise and business and helps safeguard the economic, environmental, health and social wellbeing of consumers. CTSI represents trading standards professionals working in the UK and overseas - in local authorities, business and consumer sectors and central government.
