About us
TIS-UK Is a not for profit organisation committed to improving the health and well being and ability to learn of the most vulnerable schoolchildren in the UK, namely those who have suffered trauma, abuse, neglect and/or have mental health problems or attachment issues. We are Doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, head teachers from main stream schools and PRUs, former Ofsted Inspectors, Education Officers, Senior school staff, Parenting Experts, and highly experienced trauma informed teaching assistants. We all have years of experience in working with traumatised and vulnerable children from school settings. We are all passionate about helping vulnerable children. Developed by Dr Margot Sunderland in conjunction with The Child Centre for Mental Health (CCMH), London we offer a range of training to support schools and community organisations working with children and young people who have been affected by Trauma.
