About us
TRIBE Freedom Foundation was inspired by Run for Love; an epic 1,000 mile journey, completed by co-founders Tom, Rob & Guy in 2013. Over 250 runners joined them along the road from Odessa to Dubrovnik to fight human trafficking and raise funds to set up the first UK home for trafficked children. Since Run for Love, we have continued to work towards our mission, inspiring thousands of everyday athletes and adventurers to push their own limits to help increase awareness of modern slavery and end human trafficking. We work in partnership on frontline projects to prevent modern slavery and support survivors. We empower communities to create an impact. Together, we go further and faster to end modern slavery.

Fantastic to be at British Airways HQ as part of our three-year partnership, raising awareness of modern slavery #WorldDayAgainstTraffickingInPersons Global crises, conflicts and the climate emergency are escalating trafficking risks. Now more than ever, it is crucial that we work together to spot the signs, support vulnerable groups from exploitation and accelerate action to #EndHumanTrafficking
As part of our BA Better World commitment to fighting human trafficking, we’ve partnered with TRIBE Freedom Foundation. As part of a series of awareness events, today the Tribe team visited our head office to speak to our colleagues about recognising the signs of modern slavery, and the processes in place to help them respond. #BritishAirways #WorldDayAgainstTraffickingInPersons

Last Friday, a team of cyclists and hikers from NatWest Group set off to Brighton to test their physical limits in support of TRIBE Freedom Foundation and Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the athletes at Natwest, and particularly to Chris, Tom and Dawn for all their hard work helping to organise the challenge. The team has almost reached the £15,000 fundraising mark - a fantastic result! Natwest’s continued support of our work in preventing modern slavery has had a substantial impact on our projects and enabled us to support a greater number of frontline partners providing long-term support to survivors in the UK.

We are delighted to announce that British Airways has launched a three-year partnership with TRIBE Freedom Foundation to raise awareness of modern slavery & human trafficking (“MSHT”), and vital funds to empower survivors with long-term support. This summer, we’ll be visiting British Airways teams to host roadshows and engagement sessions, as well as planning some exciting fundraising challenges! Our ‘Move for Freedom’ campaign focuses on the power of the community in spotting the signs of modern slavery and supporting the fight for freedom - every one of us can help to combat MSHT. Funds raised will support TRIBE Freedom Foundation and its project partners, to empower greater numbers of survivors across the UK, providing frontline support and enabling them to rebuild their lives with access to safe accommodation, therapy, medical, casework support, education and business mentoring.
