About us

Trippin is an independent platform that connects travel, culture and creativity like never before. What started out as a Facebook group, quickly grew into the most diverse and influential travel community of our generation that powers our every move. We collaborate with our community to uncover stories that are found at the intersection of social and cultural boundaries. Combining guides and experiences with audio, film and written word to create an ecosystem that empowers people to travel with more purpose. This means making us, as travellers, more conscious of our impact on the environment, its people and its culture. Together we can make travel more sustainable for generations to come. Championing global creativity, mapping underground scenes, unpicking cultural mosaics and connecting cultures worldwide - all through the eyes of locals.

  • We joined Hinge on their mission to combat youth loneliness. In partnership with the brand’s social impact initiative, One More Hour, we created Assemble — a digital-meets-IRL universe connecting people to local clubs and communities in their city through shared interests. We launched our partnership with an event in NYC, taking over the iconic Public Records, with a full day of programming hosted by eight anti-clique clubs. From ikebana to beginners chess, our bespoke programming was designed to bring people together, irl. Our digital hub on Trippin extended our impact beyond the event, inviting audiences to sink their teeth into an entire universe of long reads, short reads and guides, plus a directory of clubs in New York, LA and London, for people to take matters into their own hands and find a club for them. Read below and unlock a new way to get yourself out and doing stuff IRL. https://bit.ly/40fiXoh 📸 by Melissa Gardner

Last weekend, Trippin hosted a stage at Jazz Cafe Festival in Burgess Park, London, showcasing a diverse lineup of global talent. We were thrilled to see over 1,200 attendees come through, bringing unparalleled energy to the event. Our stage featured a spectrum of international sounds, with Brazil's th4ys headlining. Joining her were Príncipe's Nídia, Florentino and the Afro-diasporic collective Moonshine, which saw Vanyfox deliver an eclectic set blending kuduro, batida and Afrobeat with San Farafina. Local talent Jordss energised the crowd with her R&B edits, alongside performances from Trippin co-founder Sam Blenkinsopp resident DJ Sebastian Gabe. A big thank you to The Jazz Cafe for the collaboration and to the incredible artists who contributed to an unforgettable day. We’re excited to continue bringing global sounds and immersive experiences to new audiences, as part of our commitment to connecting cultures worldwide.
