As 2024 comes to a close, we are excited to share that our Blackfriars Project is approaching its final stages, marking a significant milestone in this repair project. Recently, some of our office team visited the site following the completion of the main elevation and removal of scaffolding. With all the façade repairs now complete, only the removal of the final scaffolding remains. The Site Manager provided an in-depth tour and detailed overview of the extensive works undertaken, highlighting the importance of preserving the buildings structure and appearance. It was a valuable opportunity for our office team to gain first-hand insight into a project of this scale and complexity. The final reveal and project details will be coming to our website soon... Today, we are commemorating and reflecting on the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served in the armed forces. Historic landmarks like the Old War Office and Whitehall carry stories of dedication and heroism from the past and continue to remind us of their courage. Join us in honouring their memory and showing our respects. Lest we forget.

That's a wrap on our works at Topsfield Parade! This project involved extensive external façade repairs and a full roof replacement to this multi-use property. One of the key components of this project was the discovery of significant asbestos in the existing roof. Upon inspection, we discovered that the roof was filled with asbestos, requiring a full replacement to be carried out to ensure the safety of the building occupants. To the façade, we focussed our attentions on revitalised the stained and soiled brickwork and ornate stone using a specialist DOFF clean system, brining the architectural details back to life. Our expert team sensitively repaired the Dutch stone gable, all while carefully retaining as much of the original stonework as possible. We crafted new decorative scrolls and repaired spalling and indented sections of the stone, pillars, columns, and cornicing. Overall, this project has certainly given the building a new lease of life and allowed the architectural detailing to stand proud on the Parade once again. Well done to everyone involved. #restoration #londonarchitecture #teamwork

This year, Triton has been utilising drone technology to enhance our operations. By conducting advanced drone survey, capturing progress photos, and creating marketing material, we have found them to contribute significant value to the team and our clients. Drones can capture detailed aerial perspectives of buildings that are otherwise challenging to reach without traditional access methods such as scaffolding or cherry pickers. Not only do they enhance safety, but they also significantly reduce time and costs associated with complex access solutions. We are looking forward to integrating this technology more into our current and future projects. #drone #buildinginspection #listedbuildings #londonarchitecture #innovation

4 Keys Tips for Successful Concrete Restoration At Blackfriars Road, our fantastic team are diligently restoring concrete to all 4 elevations and here is what we have learned from our years of experience. Whether you are tackling a small repair job or a large scale project, these 4 steps are crucial for lasting results. 1. Assess the Damage Before any repairs, we conduct a detailed inspection to identify cracks, spalling, or rebar corrosion. Understanding the root of the problem is the first step towards a solution! 2. Choosing the Right Materials It is essential to use materials that match the existing concrete to ensure the buildings structural integrity remains intact. Quality materials are crucial! 3. Surface Preparation Proper cleaning and surface preparation are essential for strong adhesion and long lasting results. Skipping this step can lead to costly future repairs! 4. Protection for Longevity We finish with sealants or coatings to safeguard the concrete against moisture, chemicals, and wear. It is about ensuring repairs can stand the test of time! Want to see more of our team in action? Stay tuned for updates on our progress at Blackfriars Road! #concreterestoration #restoration #construction #concreterepairs
