The TT2 community fund has worked in partnership with charities, community groups, and schools to provide support and opportunities for our local people in the North East. We are proud to share that in 2024, our community fund donated over £140,000 to charities and community groups in the North East, as well as providing active partnerships that support regional growth! 🎉   See some of the highlights below:   🏫Norham High School received a donation to buy a high-tech laser cutting machine to support STEM learning   🚑St John Ambulance received funds to provide a brand new, more efficient Community Support Vehicle   🍽With the Greggs Foundation, we were able to provide breakfast clubs for the entire year at two primary schools   ❤Our employees took part in over 300 hours of volunteering work over the course of the last 12 months   41 different causes were supported this past year and we aim to continue these efforts in 2025! 📷Images not owned by us. On the twelfth day of Christmas TT2 donated £1,000 to Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity! 🎁 Rainbow Trust Children's Charity helps families with seriously ill children. They are the leading charity who support families caring for children who have life threatening or terminal illnesses. TT2’s donation will help them provide urgent 24/7 support to more families who are living with a seriously ill child across the country. It will also allow families to access safe transport to vital medical appointments and support them with hospital stays and admissions. On the eleventh day of Christmas TT2 donated £1,000 to Feeding Families! 🎁 Feeding Families is a North East based charity who offer support to thousands of families experiencing food poverty. They promote wellbeing and provide relief to those accessing their services through offering food and other resources like education which they could not otherwise afford. TT2’s donation will help them continue to donate over 2,000 food boxes each month and feed many families over this Christmas. On the tenth day of Christmas TT2 donated £1,000 to Anxious Minds! 🎁 Anxious Minds is a charity devoted to helping those living with mental health challenges by providing life-saving support and creating sanctuaries of hope and healing across the North East. TT2’s donation will help support the ever-growing demand for mental health support, allowing them to expand their services, improve accessibility, develop new programmes and raise awareness to reduce the mental health stigma. On the ninth day of Christmas TT2 donated £1,000 to Cats Protection! 🎁 Cats Protection is the UK’s largest leading cat welfare charity. Since 1927 they’ve helped rehouse over 1.5 million cats and kittens and defending the rights of many more. TT2’s donation will help improve the lives of many cats as well as the people who care for them. This will enable them to access the resources required to offer support and advice to many owners and provide the necessary care to the cats who need it. On the eighth day of Christmas TT2 donated £1,000 to Crisis Skylight Newcastle! 🎁 Crisis Skylight Newcastle provides support to those experiencing or are at risk of homelessness. Each year they work with thousands of people to try and find ways out of homelessness and create a change. TT2’s donation will help them work towards their aim of relieving the pressure of homelessness by assisting people to find safe and affordable housing. On the seventh day of Christmas TT2 donated £1,000 to provide 700 selection boxes to Pathways4All! 🎁   Pathways4All is parent-led charity supporting hundreds of disabled children, young people and families across the North East through their play and leisure services.
