Hello all! As one of the six teams in UCL Racing, we are announcing that we will be moving all our future posts (including our most recent one) to UCL Racing. From now on, you will find all the latest updates, insights, launches, tests, and events over at UCL Racing. This shift is driven by our desire to recognise the opportunities that UCL Racing has given us at UCL Rocket, but to also show how UCL Rocket is a major part of the bigger initiative of getting brilliant and forward-thinking students into a team engineering environment, developing them to become leaders of our future. We encourage you to follow us over at UCL Racing to stay connected and keep updated with our progress! We look forward in engaging with some of you there! Should there be any questions, we will still be momentarily monitoring this account to address any queries some of you perhaps may have. Thank you and see you at UCL Racing! #UCLR #UCLRocket

Greetings from UCL Rocket! We are the student-led rocketry team – one of the six student-let projects of UCL Racing (UCLR). This is our very first LinkedIn post, so here’s a bit of a catch-up summary of what has happened so far within our team’s history! Over the past two years, we: · Won the National Rocketry Championship 2023 with our newly founded team of first-year undergraduate students! · Achieved 10th overall out of 150 teams globally at the Spaceport America Cup 2023! · Achieved 2nd overall at MACH-22! With these remarkable successes, we plan to continue the first-year team competing at the National Rocketry Championship, but also to design, develop and build our very first liquid bi-propellant engine for the National Propulsion Competition at UK Race to Space, which hopefully would be integrated into our largest and most advanced rocket yet. Just last week, we went up to the The University of Sheffield to attend the most recent UK Race to Space meet-up. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity to meet up with other teams across the UK, learn from their experiences and knowledge within hybrid and liquid engine propulsion and we were also lucky enough to be given a tour around the wonderful facilities around the The University of Sheffield, including the Royce Discovery Centre! Everyone was incredibly welcoming, and it is with great pleasure for us to join this incredible community!
