Founded over 60 years ago, UHY Calvert Smith is one of York’s longest established and well respected firms of accountants and business advisers.
We have been a member of the UHY Hacker Young Group since October 2000 and have a significant accountancy presence in Yorkshire and the North East.
Combining traditional values with forward-thinking, we have a strong reputation as an approachable, professional firm. Our team are at the heart of our service provision and we pride ourselves on our ‘hands on’ approach and being available, when you need us, to help you achieve your financial goals.
Our office is located in York, with easy access from the A64 and plenty of parking. We provide a broad range of partner led accountancy services to a varied client base across Yorkshire and the North East. This includes all of the services you would expect from a local firm of accountants – from bookkeeping and payroll services, to tax, audit and accounts. However, we also provide additional specialist services – from helping you complete your first VAT return to tax planning advice and support with HMRC investigations, business advice and business plan reviews, research and development tax credit claims, company secretarial services, due diligence, trusts, landed estates, and probate. We are also a Xero Platinum partner and fully qualified to to help our clients create bespoke cloud packages to suit their needs.
