The race to commercialise cell-based meat is heating up— both Australia and the UK are making great strides in this global race, but what will it take to scale from lab to table? 🍽️   Cultivated meat has the potential to transform global food systems, reducing environmental impact and enhancing food security. An exciting first half of my week in Delhi showcasing CPI's capabilities and commitment to a sustainable future, enabled by deep tech innovations. Busy few days starting with a reception at the British High Commissioner's residence (Lindy Cameron CB OBE) as she hosted UK's Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero Ed Miliband MP and colleagues from CSIR- National Chemical Laboratory, Energy Systems Catapult, Innovate UK, Connected Places Catapult and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and several other leaders from industry, academia and Government.
