Honoured to join a panel with Prof. Marc Güell and Prof. Mattheos Koffas, moderated by Asst. Prof. Puey Ounjai, at Thailand’s Synbio Consortium 2024: Solutions for a Better Tomorrow. Together, we explored responsible research and innovation in synthetic biology, focusing on how to drive impactful and ethical advances in the field. I also had the pleasure of introducing two groundbreaking UK initiatives – the National Alternative Protein Innovation Centre (NAPIC) and the UK-SEA Vax Hub – to Thailand’s thriving synthetic biology community. Looking forward to fostering more global partnerships for a sustainable future!

Honoured to have had the opportunity to present our work on virus-like particles alongside leading experts in vaccine research, including Nobel Laureate Prof. Drew Weissman and Prof. Kiat Ruxrungtham. A special thanks to my research collaborator, Prof. Haiping Lu, for his invaluable support. It was also fantastic to see many UK-SEA Vax Hub partners at the conference – thank you all for your ongoing commitment and support for this event.

We had a highly productive UK-SEA Vax Hub Scientific Advisory Board meeting at Chulalongkorn University. A heartfelt thank you to our esteemed board members — Nobel Laureate Prof. Drew Weissman, Dr. Martin Friede, and Ms. Rachel Park — for sharing their invaluable insights and expertise with us. Your contributions are greatly appreciated and continue to guide our mission toward advancing vaccine security and innovation in Southeast Asia.
