We can't wait to try out our new archery tag equipment! This is an activity which we have always wanted to bring into the business and with our brand new Multi-Activity camp running at Holme Grange School this Christmas it was a fantastic opportunity to roll this out! So, what exactly is Archery Tag? Archery tag is a fun and exciting activity that combines the thrill of archery with the strategy of tag. GAMEPLAY 🔵 Suitable For: Children aged 7 - 12, school years 3 to 7. 🔵 Teams: Players are divided into two or more teams. 🔵 Objective: The objective is to eliminate players from the opposing team by tagging them with foam-tipped arrows. 🔵 Elimination: A player is eliminated when they are hit by an arrow. 🔵 Respawn: Eliminated players can respawn after a certain amount of time or when their team scores a point. 🔵 Scoring: Teams can score points by eliminating players, capturing objectives, or completing specific challenges. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS 🔵 Full Face Masks: All players must wear full-face masks to protect their eyes and face from potential impact. 🔵 Experienced Instructors: Games are supervised by experienced instructors who ensure safety guidelines are followed. 🔵 Equipment Inspection: All equipment, including bows and arrows, is inspected regularly to ensure they are in good condition. 🔵 Safe Zones: Designated safe zones are established where players can retreat and reload without being targeted. EQUIPMENT 🔵 Foam-Tipped Arrows: The arrows used in archery tag are specially designed with soft foam tips to minimize impact and prevent injuries. 🔵Bows: Players use lightweight bows that are easy to handle and shoot accurately. 🔵Inflatable Bunkers/Hiding Places: Inflatable bunkers and hiding places provide cover and strategic opportunities for players to ambush opponents. We can't wait to see everyone having fun at our holiday camps and after school clubs with archery tag soon!

💙 Coach Appreciation Post 💙 Coach Tom has worked for uSports for over 2 years now and has made such a big impact on the company over his time with us! Tom has worked in many different settings and has made positive impressions with everyone he comes across, whether this is children, staff or parents. Whilst he was working as a head sports coach, Tom wanted to push himself that little bit further and try and gain more experience working in the office. He now works in the uSports office as Quality Coordinator which involves checking the overall quality of the sessions which we run. Tom will spend his weeks checking in on coaches and seeing if they have any questions regarding their sessions. He will give feedback to coaches through our mentoring scheme which enables coaches to improve and grow in their role. We have been so impressed with Tom, especially with how well he has taken to his new role. Well done Tom, we look forward to working with you in the future and seeing how you grow within your role here at uSports!
