Well done to the Voluntary Sector & Inclusive Economy team over at Calderdale Council! 👏 It's great to see your involvement in the #Calderdale50Squared Challenge, we're so glad you had fun! Active Calderdale
In September, the Voluntary Sector & Inclusive Economy team at Calderdale Council took part in the #Calderdale50Squared challenge - 50 active days to celebrate 50 years of Calderdale Active Calderdale VSI Alliance Alongside the set challenge of moving every day for 50 days, we set ourselves a team challenge of completing 50 different activities across the 50 days. Our activities spanned far and wide across Calderdale; we climbed hills, swam in rivers, scaled a 21 meter climbing wall (huge thanks to the brilliant team at ROKT FOUNDATION), tried lots of new sports and made everyday activities fun. We had loads of fun and got quite creative with our activities. We made it to 64 different activities in 50 days. See our top 10 below... Bouldering and rope climbing Wild berry foraging Hoovering the house Full moon night hike to Heptonstall Parading with little Amal at the Yorkshire Integration Festival Paddleboarding Re-siliconing the shower Walking meeting on Beacon Hill Mountain Biking Just Dance (Switch) Jayne Leech Sian Rogers Faye Henderson Vicky McGhee Elsa Ward Jessica Heald Rachel Stewart Leonora Aigbokhae
