How quickly and efficiently do organisations answer your questions? What's your preferred format for receiving communications from organisations? Paper or online? These were some of the many topics that were discussed in the recent study we conducted with Adare SEC. We asked 2,000 UK consumers a range of questions about key communication themes. These findings produced a precise snapshot of current attitudes and gave valuable insights into future expectations and aspirations. Have a read of the report below... Huge thanks to Printweek for the write-up on our new consumer survey report ‘Communication Calibration’. We’re very proud of this piece of work which captures the attitudes and expectations of 2000 UK consumers relating to customer and citizen communications. As PrintWeek’s headline states, the report’s findings show a high demand for organisations to offer communication choice and convenience via a considered blend of digital and ‘traditional’ channels. The report covers a lot of ground, including latest consumer attitudes to AI and thoughts on the importance of sustainability in decision-making. The good news is that the full report is available free of charge from our website. Download today and please feel free to share the insights and data in your own discussions and presentations. https://hubs.ly/Q02Zwq-50

Head of Research at Vanson Bourne

Today I attended Dell Forum in London with Lisa Costello. Not only did we get to meet Steve Young, Dell UK's MD, we got to see him, and many other brilliant speakers present data from the Dell Innovation Catalyst survey that we conducted for Dell Technologies earlier this year. We love seeing our data being used at such innovative events. Hearing John Roese talk about how he is driving Dell's own AI strategy forward was also really inspiring. We were also treated to an interesting and humourous fireside chat featuring David Mitchell, followed by a disco hosted by Jo Whiley. And to top it off, I was lucky enough to be one of only 5 attendees lucky enough to win a portable Dell monitor to take home! What a fabulous day, thank you very much to all at Dell.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄! 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀? Most companies struggle with the adoption of innovative technologies. Almost two-thirds (64 percent) experience difficulties in effectively evaluating the potential of new technologies. This figure rises even higher — to 72 percent — in the manufacturing and production sector. A total of 57 percent of companies say that they have refrained from introducing a new technology at least once owing to the associated challenges. These are the key findings of the “Innovation & Technology Adoption” study conducted by management consultancy Detecon in collaboration with the market research firm Vanson Bourne “The responses reveal that practical knowledge about the costs and impact of a technology plays a decisive role; equally pressing is the question of how — and even whether — it can be integrated into other or legacy technologies. At the same time, companies need to establish a culture that favors rapid prototyping so that new technologies can be tested at an early stage and subsequently rolled out quickly,” explains Christian Maasem, hyperconnectivity expert at Detecon and one of the authors of the study. “Everyone involved must grasp that the path to innovative strategies always involves testing and experimentation with the aim of developing solid business cases parallel to the analysis of overall profitability. Even the best theories and decision-making principles are no substitute for practical testing to determine whether an innovative technology really works and can be easily integrated and scaled.” ➡️Download the study here: https://lnkd.in/egrmPxfT ➡️Read here the full media release: https://lnkd.in/efUhVSB8

We're excited to share our latest research, conducted in collaboration with Memetic Communications Ltd and Asanti, exploring the challenges that large organizations encounter with public cloud adoption. ⚡🚀 Read below for the full report ⬇️ Catherine Billington, Katie Lucas, Lucy Coleman, Jack Flatters and David Kapadia

We’ve recently completed a really cool research project for a colocation data centre provider, Asanti, on the challenges large organisations face in the public cloud. For all the promise of the cloud, we found things were not always rosy - as this accompanying infographic shows. All that provides a pretty compelling case for a hybrid approach - exactly where Asanti can help. This has given Asanti a strong story to tell customers, lots of great media angles (and coverage), data and insights for presentations, and a great lead gen asset. In just two months, we designed the research survey, conducted it (with Vanson Bourne), and presented our findings and analysis in a whitepaper, which we also designed.
