Alongside Truewool®️Natural Insulation, we are pleased to share the successful completion of our REforMM (Resource Efficiency for Manufacturing & Materials) funded project using British sheep wool to develop plastic free, rigid sheep wool insulation panels. We truly embraced the spirit of resource efficiency - we progressing from an early stage concept to now standing on the verge of our first commercial orders in 15 months. This achievement marks a significant milestone for our team. We have validated the potential of integrating innovative processes and materials with traditional materials like wool to make more sustainable and efficient products. We look forward to introducing this product to the market and demonstrating how it can help create high performance, eco-friendly living and working environments. Our CTO, Liam Britnell, was one of the featured panelists at the 2nd Academia-Industry Day hosted by the Department of Materials at The University of Manchester. This event at Alliance Manchester Business School aimed to strengthen collaborations between academia and industry in materials science. The panel included academics, industrialists, innovators, and funders with successful university collaborations, sharing insights into the benefits of these interactions.
