Today marks a significant milestone for Vertical Aerospace as we announce a comprehensive funding agreement that adds $50 million in new equity funding from Mudrick Capital, as part of a broader $180 million transaction.    This agreement strengthens our financial foundation, advances our Flightpath 2030 Strategy, and accelerates our journey to eVTOL market leadership.   Key highlights of the transaction: ✅ $50M equity commitment from Mudrick Capital, including $25M upfront and a $25M backstop for future funding rounds. ✅ $130M debt conversion into equity, significantly deleveraging our balance sheet and providing future stability. ✅ Fixed conversion price for remaining convertible notes, bringing certainty for future fundraising. ✅ Extended loan repayment to 2028, providing further security through Vertical's certification programme.  ✅ Renewed UK commitment as we continue to innovate from our headquarters in the heart of the aerospace industry.   #VX4 #eVTOL #Flightpath2030 #SustainableAviation #Innovation

"Nice and boring" unexpected praise for the aircraft from Chief Test Pilot - Simon Davies after our first untethered flight. “The aircraft performed absolutely brilliantly, and was really stable in the hover. The flight controls felt good, and it’s great to have the tethers off. Everything on the aircraft worked perfectly - no surprises, nice and boring - a great test flight. Definitely my favourite and most memorable flight in thousands of flight hours, but my job was really easy - standing on the shoulders of giants! So proud of our team.”

Lift off!   Our first untethered flight has taken place, with our Chief Test Pilot Simon Davies in the cockpit.    This is a huge achievement for Vertical, reached by only a handful of companies and cementing our place at the forefront of eVTOL technology. A huge day for Vertical Aerospace, as we release Aircraft Two from its tethers and take to the sky, with a pilot onboard. Moving into the second phase of testing, expanding our flight test envelope puts us in line with very few companies that have reached this milestone of piloted eVTOL flight. The second of four testing phases follows the UK Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) expansion of Vertical’s Permit to Fly, and we continue to work closely with the regulators as we move through the flight test programme. #eVTOL #VX4 #FlightTest
