  • Last week, our team travelled to sunny Lisbon for the Web Summit 2024 conference for four days of interesting content across eCommerce and tech. The event brought together the people and companies redefining the global tech industry with industry leaders in eCommerce, sharing insights into key trends and technologies shaping the digital landscape. Generative AI continued to be a central topic, however, despite the buzz only 1% of content is created using this. This number is continued to grow with it already transforming business models and speeding up innovation with the potential to halve content creation costs in the next 3-5 years. We're excited to continue watching the big players deploy this in scale! Other key highlights included: 💡Tips on how brands can avoid chasing growth at the cost of authenticity by focusing on being needed rather than needy. 💡An inspiring take on navigating the unique challenges of leadership, from embracing vulnerability to building trust. 💡A reminder on while efficiency is essential, creating memorable, effective brands requires risk-taking and conviction.   • We’re super excited to share that we’ve won eCommerce Agency of the Year at the 2024 European Agency Awards! 🏆 This recognition reflects the hard work of our team and the continued trust of the great brands that we work with. Thank you to the judges at Don't Panic Events for recognising our team's hard work, and congratulations to all the other finalists.

  • Meet Zak M., our Senior Data Consultant who has been with Vervaunt for almost 4 years! Zak joined us from another agency and previously had experience in marketing within the board game industry. Zak wanted to join Vervaunt to step out of his comfort zone and embrace a role where he could grow and develop. Beyond his work, he's trained as a Mental Health First Aider and has joined our Movember team to raise awareness for men's health. When it comes to his favourite clients, he can't choose between P448 and Sunspel as they both bring great energy and are a pleasure to work with. His favourite movies are Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, and his drink of choice is Rum & Ginger Beer. If he could time travel, he’d go back to the Medieval era - a childhood obsession of his ⚔️. Make sure to say hi to Zak if you see him in the office or at any of our events! 👋

From bold haircuts, moustaches, and challenges to some impressive mileage goals, we’re committed to making a difference. Why? Because men’s mental health matters. Owen was drawn to Vervaunt as the perfect place to develop his digital design skills, while also learning about paid media and collaborating with premium brands. His favourite client? Champion - he’s inspired by their creativity and finds working with them a rewarding experience.
