As we start 2025, I’m excited about the year ahead and everything we’re looking to achieve at V. The ship management market enters 2025 at a pivotal moment, and I am convinced that V. has the people, skills and expertise to help our customers navigate the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Everything we have planned is measured through the lens of “does it make our customers’ boats go faster” – in other words, will what we do make life easier for our customers. This is what really matters for them, and to all of us at V. We have kicked off the year with a number of important internal promotions to ensure we have the best possible team in place to serve our customers. Robert Desai has assumed the role of V.Ships CEO, while Petter Traaholt has taken over the role of V.Services CEO in addition to his current role as Group CFO. I have no doubt that, together with their teams, they will take our business to new heights. As Group CEO I am immensely proud to have such a strong team in place to allow us to continue delivering what our customers expect from us, and hopefully much more. Truly strength through stability! Wishing everyone a healthy and prosperous 2025. V.Group

This meeting provided an excellent opportunity to present V.'s latest vision and organisational advancements aimed at supporting customers in achieving ambitious environmental targets. It also offered valuable insights into Wärtsilä's capabilities and opened the door for meaningful collaboration. Special thanks to Jan Othman for hosting the session, as well as to Dario Landi, Kai Rantatalo and the entire Wärtsilä team for their warm hospitality and their efforts in making the discussions productive. V. continues to lead from the front by partnering with the best. 🔥
