About us
Vikela uses advanced 3D printing to manufacture next generation stab and ballistic protection. Our mission is to be at the forefront of 3D printing for mass manufacturing, making products that save lives and protect the world. We are focused on developing knowledge on 3D thinking and design, to inspire the next generation of innovation. Based in Belfast, Vikela uses patent pending materials and structures to manufacture body armour that delivers flexible, lightweight, and sustainable protection. The APIS stab protection range has been designed to perform above current testing standards and is available in an extensive size range. With a human-centered design process, Vikela’s materials and technology can be applied to a wide range of products and industries where there is a need for lighter and stronger materials. The company is committed to excellence in R&D and innovation, as well as product sustainability.

We had a fantastic weekend in Boston attending the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference. We met some great people and had some fantastic engagement with law enforcement and public safety professionals. Just wanted to give a big shoutout to Edward Davis for inviting me to the amazing networking event hosted by The Edward Davis Company and Flock Safety.
