Voluntary Action Orkney (VAO) is a third sector interface or TSI. There is one in each local authority area in Scotland. We promote, support and develop local third sector activity, for example, volunteering, community groups, charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises. We work in partnership and collaboratively with local third sector groups and organisations, the public sector and community planning partners to improve the lives of people living in Orkney.
