It’s been a very busy week for Vuba! I joined Harry Iggleden and Alex Ives for our first show in Saudi Arabia with our partners Vuba Middle East. We found the country stunning and very welcoming, with lots of opportunity for our products. We hopefully made a connection with a future long term partner for Saudi Arabia. I flew from there to join Ellie Platten and her team for our Vuba Stone convention in the USA. Part of a bigger event hosted by our partners Rubber Stone, it was an incredible day. We came to America 2 years ago and I couldn’t have wished for the progress we’ve made. We had over 100 installers present and enjoyed announcing our plans for a new US based Vuba Distribution Centre, and much reduced pricing. While away I’ve missed our first Vuba charted Bulk Cargo boat coming into our Goole site. I’ll update everyone on the new factory next week. Ashton Nottingham has done an incredible job planning in multiple ships, totalling close to 20,000 Tonnes of product coming into the site. We’re so happy with the support from Associated British Ports throughout this process, and we’re finalising plans to work together even closer in the near future. In Europe we had record attendance at our Vuba Bulgaria training course. We have a great relationship with the team in Bulgaria and really believe they’ll do very well this year. Our Easihold BDM Marni Lavinia Esa visited a valued distributor of our Easihold products in Europe to discuss plans for Easihold to enter 1,000’s of new retailers across Europe. We also have some exciting plans for Easihold to be stocked in more locations in the UK. Not every week is as busy as this one, but it’s becoming more common and I’m so proud of the team. Although I do technically run the whole business, the managers of each part wouldn’t agree! I leave people to work autonomously and I’m amazed by what they are managing to achieve, while I focus on specific projects for the future. The Vuba Vessel Has Arrived🚢 On Wednesday night, our first vessel containing 3,500 tonnes of aggregates docked at our new processing plant in Goole🏭 Now ready to be processed, dried, and bagged. This factory allows us to be in control of quality and supply the highest quality aggregates in the industry🚀 Watching all the hard work come together has been extremely rewarding for Sean Scott, Ashton Nottingham and the Vuba Minerals team! 🦬

Another Holiday Park has undergone the Flexflooring treatment!  This time at Solent Breezes Holiday Park in Southampton (part of the Park Holidays group www.parkholidays.com). The client required new pathways to be installed in Resin Bound Stone supplied by Vuba in Premium Vernazza colour blend.  We installed a total of 116m2 of pathways, at a depth of 20mm, in order to tie in with the new tarmac and trims. These seamless pathways look great and clearly mark out the new caravan bays.  They are also porous, as Resin Bound Stone allows rainwater to be absorbed into the ground, rather than running off the surface, reducing the risk of flooding and water pollution.  Another reason to consider a resin bound surface, it not only looks good, it’s great for the environment too! #resinbound #vuba #pathways #seamlesssurface
