Sourcing and obtaining competitive quotations from specialist subcontractors. Inputting costs and labour data into our central database accurately. Apprentices of the Future! 💡 As part of our ongoing commitment to helping with the skills shortage our industry faces, a few of the Wadys team attended a careers evening at Vandyke School, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire 🏫 Dave, Dan, and Will were on hand throughout the evening to advise students, parents and teachers on the best route into the industry, a typical day, pay scales, and any other questions they had. Will Stuart one of our 2nd year apprentices was also happy to share his personal experience of an electrical apprenticeship with the students. We have been providing apprenticeships since 1961 and apprentices continue to be valued members of our team, working alongside their mentors, helping us to provide an excellent service to our clients and also giving back to the local area. Wadys secures M&E package on a new £31.5m Leighton Buzzard leisure centre! Our client Willmott Dixon has been chosen by Central Bedfordshire Council to build a new leisure centre in Clipstone Park, Leighton Buzzard, in a contract worth £31.5 million. The new leisure centre will provide a full range of high-quality, modern sports and community amenities. The new centre includes a large health and fitness areas, an eight lane 25metre pool, a learner pool and a confidence pool.
