Huge congratulations to Ashleigh Walker, MBA CMgr FCMI 🥂 on the successful achievement of her #MBA from Northumbria University. At a time when we have just hosted our first T-Level students, who are just starting their journey 🤩, and 20 years since completion of her Bachelors degree 🎓, we recognise what a tough journey this has been! To build up the courage to learn as an adult cannot be underestimated. My advice to anyone studying - is carry on - don’t stop! Because as soon as you have responsibility it’s virtually impossible to take time out for study. Congratulations to all those that have gained skills as adults, juggling work life commitments 💥💥💥 Especially well done to Ashleigh who has done it whilst working in the chaos that is small business 🫣🫣🫣🫣💥💥💥💥🥂🥂🥂🥂🎓🎓🎓 Walker Subsea Engineering Ltd #cpd

A huge congratulations to our Commercial Director Ashleigh Walker, who has now officially been awarded her MBA! 😎 Well done on receiving a Distinction from Northumbria University, and doing such a great project. Psychological Wellbeing is such an important topic, and there is so much that businesses can do to help their employees.
🌟 What a way to kick off the week! After three years of hard work and balancing the responsibilities of running a business, raising three amazing boys, and tackling my MBA studies, I'm thrilled to share that I've been awarded a First from Northumbria University! 🎓💼 Juggling all these roles has pushed my time management skills to the max, and yes, there were times where some areas didn't get the attention they deserved. But through it all, I took on this challenge not just for myself or my business, but to inspire my boys, the next generation. If I can do it, they can absolutely smash it! A massive shoutout to my incredible partner, Vahid Walker, for being my rock throughout this journey. From running a business together to raising our family and supporting my studies, I couldn't have done it without you by my side. 🙌 Together, we've tackled every challenge and celebrated every milestone. I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the amazing staff at Northumbria University who've been influential in my journey. Special thanks to Helen Charlton, Dr Rachael Thompson, and Angela McGrane for their invaluable support and guidance every step of the way. My MBA topic focused on Employee Psychological Wellbeing and its connection with innovation in the workplace. This journey led to the development of a Psychological Wellbeing audit and action plan, empowering businesses to foster a healthy workplace culture and drive innovation 🌱💡 Excited to share more about this soon! Feel free to reach out if you're interested in learning more. Here's to conquering challenges, breaking barriers, and inspiring the next generation! 🌟 #MBA #Distinction #NorthumbriaUniversity #Innovation #WorkplaceWellbeing

💡 ‘How psychological wellbeing in the workplace can influence innovation’ Help shape my MBA Study! I am doing research for my #dissertation at Northumbria University . The survey seeks the perspectives of employed individuals – with questions covering various topics including: well-being, innovation and organisational culture. The objective of the survey is to gain insight into workplace objectives versus the type of support offered to employees. Inspired by the work of Amy Edmondson Employee #psychologicalwellbeing is a critical aspect of organisational success. Research shows that mentally and emotionally-well employees are more engaged, motivated, and productive. The aim of the study overall is to come up with workplace strategies which take into account on-the-ground experience as well as the latest in industry trends and academic papers. I am hoping to get a diverse set of results so if you can pass this the questionnaire on to your network I would be even more grateful. *All responses are confidential and anonymized to respect your privacy* 🔏 Link: https://lnkd.in/eE52Zgej #psychologicalsafety #psychologicalwellbeing #innovationstrategy #shapethefuture Walker Subsea Engineering Ltd
