Great to see another project completed. A great effort by all involved at Nevada Construction
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the refurbishment of the Plankton Taxonomy Laboratory at The Marine Biological Association (MBA) in Plymouth. Over the course of 12 weeks, our team transformed the space to meet the latest standards in scientific research environments. This modernised laboratory will play a crucial role in supporting plankton research, vital to understanding marine biodiversity and global ecosystems. It will also serve as a hub for public engagement, hosting workshops and educational events to promote awareness of the importance of marine life. Wave Services LTD have recently met the critera to upgrade our CHAS membership to ‘ELITE’ demonstrating our commitment to developing our health and safety procedures to minimise risk throughout the business. The Common Assessment Standard is the most comprehensive accreditation programme CHAS offer, covering 13 key areas of risk management, including and building on areas assessed under the PAS 91. By covering many different aspects of risk management, the Common Assessment Standard can reduce risk across our whole supply chain.

Saltash Football Club approached us recently to upgrade their toilet facilities within the club house. The club had recieved a grant to undertake these works but unfortunatly the grant was only about half of the funding they needed. With the support of our supply chain providing discounts and donations we have only gone and delivered it for the club within their grant budget. A huge thank you to everyone involved for helping us to support our local community. G&R Electrical and Security Wholesalers & Dave Symons for donating the lighting. Mayflower Bathrooms for donating all of the sanitary ware. Air Vent Services Ltd & Lee Robertson for completing the ventilation systems installation as a donation. We are proud to announce the successful completion of the extension of the Glenbourne Unit Livewell Southwest This project involved the construction of a new flat roof single-storey extension to the existing two-storey mental health unit. The extension provides a new Enhanced Care Area (ECA) and seclusion suite, ensuring the highest standard of care for patients. Additionally, the works included infilling the existing corridor windows and windows from adjacent areas, along with the adaptation of the ventilation plant to adjacent areas, ensuring a seamless integration with the existing facility.
