To thank our team for their hard work throughout 2024, we finished last year with a few fun activities! Our Sales team channelled their inner racing drivers at the F1 Arcade, while Projects blew off some steam with a morning of paintballing. And on the final day before the break, we held a team BBQ at our head office in Farnham, capping off another incredibly busy year! As we prepare for everything 2025 has to offer, we'd like to thank our team once again, alongside our supply chain and loyal customers who helped push through a challenging 12 months. We're incredibly excited for what's to come over the next 12 and would like to wish you all a very happy new year! #teambuilding

Wrapping up the last week of the year at work with volunteering for the Third Age Project's Christmas lunch and party alongside British Land and volunteers from the 1 Triton Square Project Team Overbury, M3 Consulting, Piercy&Company, Royal London Asset Management and Buro Happold. A huge thank you to Nicola Roberts for introducing us to the charity and for all the support leading to and on the day. Christmas can be a lonely time for a lot of people, especially the older generation, so it has been very fulfilling being able to help support TAP's incredible work through celebration and the arts. The party included a two course meal for all members and performances from multiple choirs and a Bollywood dance workshop. A huge thank you to our generous supply chain who provided prizes to be won during games of bingo and raffle: BPC Interiors Limited, Whole Building Services, Ampersand Floors, Waverley, ADS Painters and Decorators, TMJ Interiors and PIP Electrics & Building Services Ltd

It was great to celebrate a successful year with the team earlier this week and reflect on what has been both a challenging but rewarding 2024. The team has completed some fantastic projects including TVC where we installed over 500 external Warema shutters and Park Hyatt Hotel where we installed over 1100 Lutron blinds. Looking forward to seeing some of the fantastic projects we’ve secured being delivered onsite next year. A big thank you to the whole team here at Waverley, can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in 2025. 🍾

Introducing the VR Capital project for ODB Group. Manufactured in-house by our Pre-Construction Manager Sam Moss, our S3 Synchronised Shading Core system powers 13 motorised Draper® roller blinds with SMI motors in our SilverScreen fabric. Interestingly, the switch used to control the blind initially was not compatible with KNX. However, due the endless possibilities with KNX UK, we were able to create a custom solution that converted the signal received from the client switch into the information required for KNX operation. So, through our automated system, the project delivers seamless operation of the blinds, providing 0-100% stop position, significantly reduced wiring costs and a fully futureproof shading system for the client. Earlier this week, Father Christmas (a.k.a. our very own Matthew Kirkbride) took time out of his busy festive schedule to deliver two sacks full of toys to Structure Tone's Christmas Toy Donation Drop Off at 20 Ropemaker. Our team came together to round up old games, puzzles, action figures and much more for the donation, which will be distributed to local schools, hospitals, community centres and families. Luckily for all involved, the drop off didn't include any chimneys!

Yesterday we held The Great Waverley Bake Off at our head office in Farnham to raise money for Challengers and have a bit of friendly competition to see who the office star baker is. From a saffron bundt cake to mozzarella, chorizo and cheddar pinwheels, we were spoilt for choice and sufficiently full heading into the afternoon! It was excellent to see so many of the team get involved and join together to raise over £130!

We're pleased to announce that our exterior division, Waverley Exteriors, has been sold to A&S Landscape, a highly respected company with almost 50 years of experience specialising in outdoor covered areas. The decision allows us to focus entirely on our core expertise of internal and external window blinds, curtains, and shading automation, while ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service for their outdoor shading and shelter needs. Any existing projects and orders placed with Waverley Exteriors will continue to be managed by our team through to completion, and all outstanding quotations and new enquiries will be handled by A&S Landscape. For the avoidance of doubt, the sale does not include our range of external blind products. We will no longer be offering the following: Canopies, BioClimatic Pergolas, Awnings, Sail Shades, Parasols, Solar Carports, and Bicycle Shelters. In-site-ful day out for Kieran and Mitchell on Friday as they observed the intricacies of a motorised curtain track installation on this project in Southwark. Having recently joined the team as a new Project Manager, Mitchell is eager to get stuck into the project, while Kieran is looking forward to expanding his product knowledge as he steps into a Business Development Manager role! Thanks to expert fitter IONEL for showing them the ropes🙌
