  • The landscape of global supply chains continues to evolve, and Chapter Three of the LogiPharma Playbook for 2024 sheds light on crucial initiatives that organisations are prioritising in the next 3-5 years. 🌍📈 Download your FREE report here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eBJakn8J 🔍 Focus on Sustainability and ESG Impact A significant majority of industry leaders are dedicated to making a positive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) impact and implementing more sustainable practices within their supply chains. These green initiatives are not just about compliance but are recognised as powerful tools for long-term growth and resilience. 🌱💡 🤝 Enhancing Collaboration: Finance Teams in Focus Our research highlights the growing trend of integrating finance teams into supply chain operations. While 65% of respondents have achieved relative integration with regular monthly calls and consistent data inputs, only 11% report a high level of integration with weekly check-ins. This underscores the need for deeper collaboration to bolster resilience. 📊🤝 💊 Addressing Drug Shortages The impact of drug shortages on patient care and organisational financials is profound. Respondents highlighted negative effects on the quality of patient care and disruptions to timely medication access. Despite these challenges, there's optimism as organisations explore alternative medications and procurement solutions to regain their footing. 💊💼 Now, as we dive into Chapter Three, it's clear that a balanced approach to risk management and sustainability will pave the way for a resilient and prosperous future. Stay tuned for more insights from the LogiPharma Playbook 2024. Together, let's build a more resilient and sustainable supply chain ecosystem! 🌟🚀

  • 🚀Every year, the urgency of achieving sustainability targets amplifies!   ♻️🌳The conclusions we have drawn in the LogiChem Sustainability Through Collaboration Report are helping to draw a greener roadmap for how fostering a culture of collaboration can help the industry become more sustainable ✅To check out the full report, get your free download by clicking below. 👇   https://lnkd.in/gvZX3bCM   📈🗣While progress has been made in enhancing the industry’s ESG data capabilities, challenges persist - notably surrounding data silos, privacy concerns and a lack of standardisation. To overcome these challenges, chemical manufacturers are realising that adopting a company-wide culture of open data sharing will be key to making meaningful progress in unlocking the power that data management enhancements can bring to the table when reducing carbon emissions.   🌐📈Equally, with waste reduction being a top priority for many, there has been a trend towards the implementation of circular business models. Circular business models allow chemical manufacturers to create value by cutting costs, reducing reliance on raw materials, and minimising energy consumption. However, this strategy is relatively new and those working on them face challenges in investment, having the necessary processes and technologies, and overcoming operational silos.   📊🌍Implementing a company-wide approach coupled with a collaborative culture with all stakeholders is paramount for successful decarbonisation progress. Collaborating with transportation solution providers, in particular, has been highlighted as a key focus, and heads of supply chain are facing challenges in these efforts, in part due to a lack of infrastructure for reporting data, increased costs and an unwillingness to share emission-based data from their transportation providers.   🗣🤝With regulations set to become more stringent and far-reaching, collaboration could be the key to evolving the chemicals industry towards carbon neutrality. Solutions are there, data is available and new technologies are emerging all of the time. Real progress hinges on coming together and sharing expertise and resources.   #SupplyChain #SupplyChainInsights #Insights
