We’re building a new museum for London. In the meantime, visit us at Docklands 💙 The London Museum tells the ever-changing story of this great world city and its people, from 450,000 BC to the present day. Our galleries, exhibitions, displays and activities seek to inspire a passion for London and provide a sense of the vibrancy that makes the city such a unique place. The museum at Docklands is open daily 10am – 5pm and is FREE to all.

  • 📢 New Vacancy - Facilities Manager Help us tell the story of the world’s greatest city and its people by joining the London Museum Estate and Facilities team.   It’s an exciting time in our history. Our Facilities Manager will look after our diverse array of buildings, from our Grade I listed Docklands site, through to our Brutalist Barbican site at London Wall, and you will be part of the team running the fully refurbished Grade I buildings at Smithfield from 2026. We are looking for a proactive, customer focused Facilities professional with experience working in culture & heritage, higher education, healthcare or equivalent sectors. Previous experience of working in a museum is not required and you do not need to have any academic qualifications. For this role, we are considering candidates from different workplaces, our priorities being demonstrating care, diligence and expertise in the field of Facilities.
