Digital Driving Licences May Arrive This Year! Whether you view it as a logical extension of how people are increasingly using technology and smartphones to make their lives more convenient, or you view it as another step on the slippery slope to the privacy invading, all encompassing government I.D. cards no-one wanted a decade or so ago, it looks like there'll be an option to obtain a digital version of your driving license introduced this year. Electric vans might not be the best choice if you're regularly travelling hundreds of miles on the motorway, but most van users aren't doing that!
