About us
We run a small community centre behind the Whitley Bay Ice Rink where we hire space to local community groups and small businesses. We're also developing a youth-centred service (more news on that soon)

On Monday evening, we hosted WHITLEY BAY FILM FESTIVAL COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY in our community centre for their season finale - a showing of the film Tron and some brilliant electronica from The Mediators. We loved having Mike from Retro Bay Cafe with us as well. He provided some great retro games. Our Rock School members really enjoyed that. Along with a new Arts Group that morning, this was a proper community day. Our centre was full of all sorts of folk enjoying a slice of cultural activity and the centre was buzzing. We love it when that happens 😀 Thank you to everyone involved - both hosts and visitors.
