Today is the National Lottery's 30th Birthday! Wicksteed Charitable Trust has been very fortunate to have receive funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund for numerous projects around Wicksteed Park. Wicksteed Park are working with Mother Christmas again this year to ensure all children in Northamptonshire have a gift to open this Christmas. Mother Christmas is collecting donations of brand-new and unopened gifts, toys, make-up, gift vouchers, toiletries, socks and sweet treats to help make this happen. Wicksteed Park will be acting as a drop off point for donations – if you do wish to donate anything you can drop it off in the reception. As winter approaches, our geraniums will be leaving the park and are in search of a home for the winter! If you want to take home one of the geraniums and care for it throughout the winter, you can come collect one from the park this Wednesday. From 10am until 12pm on Wednesday, our wonderful team of volunteers will be ready with the geraniums in the rose garden (weather dependent).Make sure to bring a carrier bag as they are not potted! Seed packets, including cosmos seeds, will also be available in the Learning Centre on Wednesday from 11am until 1pm. Donations for the geraniums and seeds are welcomed but not expected. You will be able to donate on the day using cash or by scanning a QR code with your phone. Our lovely volunteers will also be happy to answer any questions you have about volunteering opportunities at the park.

Our Santa Paws in the Park event is this month and we are so excited for this event to take place for the first time ever! Are you a local dog or pet based business interested in having a stall at this event? There are some stall spaces available at Santa Paws in the Park - contact us at community@wicksteedpark.org 🐕🦺 We hope to see you all there!
