Over £1500 raised for My University Hospitals Sussex 🎉 Last weekend our team ran the Brighton 10k for My University Hospitals Sussex. We are keen supporters of My University Hospitals Sussex, dedicated charity of University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. The charity is dedicated to improving the quality of patient care by raising funds for crucial research, treatment, and support. We are committed to this worthy cause, striving to uplift and enhance lives in various communities through our projects. Delivering multiple refurbishments for the Trust, we are currently on site at Royal Sussex County Hospital. Transforming 14,000 sq ft of office space at Quarry House 🏢 We are proud to have modernised two open plan office areas with breakout rooms, collaborative workspace, lockers, kitchen facilities and desk space for 120 people. A new space for our brightest mathematicians. We’re on site in Surrey, where our team is transforming a vacant office building into a new, state-funded, specialist school. Surrey Maths School (SuMS) will cater for 200 students, aged 16-19, with a flair for mathematics and other STEM subjects. The 28,000 sq ft facility will house classrooms, quiet rooms and lab spaces, as well as specialist provision for SEN students. There will also be an auditorium, school hall and canteen too. SuMS is our first project as part of the Department for Education’s construction framework and follows the earlier completion of enabling works. It all adds up to an exceptional teaching environment for local young people. Read more below 🔽

Supporting NHS Staff in Brighton 🧑⚕️👩⚕️ We are proud to have collaborated with The Zen Project to provide essential support to NHS staff that are part of University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. Our initiative aimed to create a peaceful space for these dedicated professionals, helping them find relaxation and calmness amid their demanding work environments. Key Outcomes: ✅ Reduced stress levels ✅ Managed anxiety ✅ Enhanced emotional resilience ✅ Improved concentration Through breathwork, sound sessions, and guided meditation, we fostered a supportive group focused on wellbeing.

No one should be homeless. But did you know there’s been a 32% increase in rough sleeping in London? It means there’s an even greater demand on the services of local charities like Single Homeless Project (SHP). We teamed up with the charity to transform part of its largest hostel - the 68-bed King George V Hostel in Westminster. Working with supply chain partners, our volunteers repurposed a basement storage room into a new, safe space, where people can relax and connect. It will be an important step in reducing isolation in the community, helping people to rebuild their lives.
