What a fantastic few days on the #EmergingLeaders course at DFK UK & Ireland's Annual & Emerging Leaders conference, which took place last week in Belfast. It was great to spend a few days with likeminded individuals on the course. Sue Mitchell's sessions will always keep you engaged. We talked about managing change, leadership, networking and the power of influencing. The evenings showed a different side of us accountants… With the cherry on top being an evening of Irish Music in an old pub, of course accompanied by one or two pints of Guinness! A not so humble brag here, but… the talent within DFK International is truly incredible with there being four of this year’s 35 under 35’s in attendance. Namely, myself, BKL's Alisha O'Donovan, Gravita's Tess Alexander, RPG Chartered Accountants Ben Brownson all submitted to my request of having a photo taken together. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, Warren Baker BFP FCA showed Caroline Cassidy his finest dance moves. Video below! 👇

Last week, Wilson Wright and BKL colleagues attended the DFK UK & Ireland Annual and Emerging Leaders Conference 2024. Our team got to hear from: Mark Gallagher, a renowned Formula 1 professional who has over 30 years of experience working within the field, Graham Norris, a former financial journalist turned psychologist and futurist, and both Marie-Claire McGreevy and Oonagh O'Reilly from MCO Performance – a local business specialising in systemising commercial operations, motivation and mindset. In addition, our CEO, Lee Brook, alongside both our Business Services Director, Magdalena Guzy and Head of Governance and Sustainability, Myfanwy Neville, took to the stage to discuss various key topics, including planning for the future, mentoring across the industry, and our environmental commitments.
