Did you know that Windracers ULTRA was the first fixed wing self-flying aircraft in the world to land and take off from a Royal Navy aircraft carrier? This is Adrian Weishaeupl, Windracers Quality Assurance Engineer - read his Windracers story below 👇   Adrian completed a PhD in Automated UAV Flight Testing at the University of Southampton in 2022 while working part-time at Windracers doing Software Quality Assurance. Adrian started his full-time career at Windracers in 2023 and is now working as part of the Quality Assurance team and advising the Test and Evaluation team regarding performance flight testing. Why did Adrian choose Windracers over other UAV companies? Adrian feels like his contributions make a real difference at Windracers and he has enjoyed being part of the growth of the company and the advancement of ULTRA, our low-cost self-flying cargo aircraft. His work on continual quality improvements is very rewarding, especially when the improvements have a positive impact on the manufacturing and operational efficiency of the company.
