About us
Woodward SHE Ltd is a Cumbrian family led SME specialising in the delivery of accredited NEBOSH, IOSH and Highfield training courses UK wide. “We believe people should be safe at work” Woodward has been trying to make this simple statement a reality since was founded by Tom (snr) way back in 1992. We are not about selling certificate or ticking boxes. Instead we want to give you the skills and knowledge to keep yourself, your colleagues, customers, contractors and others safe in the workplace. We have over 25 years experience and expertise in training in health and safety management and environmental management. We hope that we can use that experience and expertise not only to help you to pass your course and gain your qualification but also to enhance your career. Our pass rates for NEBOSH Certificate courses are well over 90 percent and other courses results are well above the national average. With very few exceptions our NEBOSH National Diploma students have moved into well paid health and safety positions. All the courses offered by Woodward are nationally recognised and accredited certifications. The Health and Safety Executive turned 50 today ! Created by the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) was officially launched on 1st January 1975. For the last 50 years it has played a central role in reducing workplace death and injury, helping Great Britain become one of the safest places in the world to work.
