  • In our latest blog, we explore the future of SJTs and how AI might impact their future. If you're worried about an AI performing well in an SJT and want to mitigate the risk of AI answers, here's what you can do: 🎨 Design assessments so they're harder for AI to answer consistently. Multi-stage answers, questions that require applied judgment, and open-ended questions all help. 🔒 Deliver assessments in secure environments. Monitoring mouse movements or using locked-down browsers can prevent and monitor the use of tools like ChatGPT. 🗺️ Do a whole system review. For example, the use of multiple assessments can help validate performance across different methods. 🪟 Transparency and education. Explore how AI can be used ethically and ask candidates to do things like honesty statements. You can find out more in our latest blog, which is the last in our Spotlight on SJTs series here: https://buff.ly/3BIYnCK #AI #SJTs #SituationalJudgementTests

  • Artificial Intelligence has been on our minds in 2024 👩💻 Just last week, we were reflecting on how AI technology can shape assessments and how much we trust it 🤨 But this new technology is having a big impact on recruitment and selection. In our blog 'Is AI the last straw for values-based recruitment?', we reflect on a panel from ABP Conference 2024, specifically: 💻The benefits that recruiting for values can give to organisations 💻What we need to be mindful of when assessing for values 💻How AI relates to values-based recruitment - does it threaten it? How is your workplace handling AI? Read our article here: https://lnkd.in/exiucGzj #AI #Recruitment #Assessment #Selection

At WPG, we try to stay informed when it comes to disability and neurodiversity - it's an important aspect of psychology, after all! The working world is gradually moving towards an understanding that not all employees are neurotypical - our article, 'Neurodiversity at work: Where we’ve been and where we’re Going', recollects our session with Professor Nancy Doyle last year. Our key takeaways from this session were: 💼 Neurodiversity in the workplace is a topic that is rising to the forefront 👥 Neurodivergent people are not a homogeneous group 📚 Research in this area is still early stages 🔄 Context matters 🔗 There were unexpected links to our work at WPG 📝 Ensure we involve neurodiverse individuals in the design of our assessments 💭 We must consider what we’re assessing Read more here: https://buff.ly/47DO9i9 #DisabilityHistoryMonth #Neurodivergent #Neurodiversity
