Thanks to everybody who joined last night's magical SYCCIN meet at Grimm & Co. The room was full of great ideas and musings, and the amazing touch of wizardry added so much wonder to the evening. We welcomed around 40 people through the doors, with updates on the fantastic (world first) Children's Capital of Culture - taking place in Rotherham next year. We heard all about how creatives can get involved throughout the Rotherham Children's Capital of Culture year, plus why partnership and co-production has been so central to its formation and it can involve all reaches of the South Yorkshire region. We're so grateful for our brilliant speakers Leanne Buchan, Sarah Christie, Avumile Sibanda, Liam O'Shea and Jon Finch. Thanks to Deborah Bullivant MBE DL EdD and her team for their brilliant hospitality. Our next blog will share insights from the evening, and our newsletter will have links to further details for any creatives wanting further details. Keep an eye on your inbox! For now, though, be sure to save the date for our next event - 26th February, 5-8pm, in Sheffield: https://lnkd.in/euYeT6Gp #SYCCIN
