  • Not a bad view! The site team working really hard on our site in Brislington for a main contractor. The full works, licensed asbestos removals, demolition, remediation and site preparation for the development to follow in the new year. All site won materials are being processed on site for re-use in the construction phase, meaning a minimal requirement for off-site disposal and hugely reduced #carbonfootprint #Demolition #remediation #asbestos #recycling #environment

Week 5! Starting to slow down now in IT services as Exeter College prepares for enrolment! Great to see Arque Ltd wrapping up projects in CCI and also Laurence building is coming along nicely! BMS system has now been brought online and connected to the main estate. Another great partnership with estates and IT working together. Falcon house received their new dell laptops 44 units including 2 Lapbanks to keep safe. David O'Connor please enjoy as they are night and day compared to the ones we removed! Good progress across the estate with Data Path finishing data cabling jobs across the college. Nice day to celebrate results day for our students and a great test of all the investments over the last 2 years. With a brand new network and backbone, alongside our new Azure Stack HCI servers. They didn't break a sweat even with the big spikes of traffic we observed! Moments like this makes me and others very proud and justifies what we do and cost becomes worth it! More to come next week as we start the data wiring of our new building in Exeter as we look to expand the college. Wring Group Ltd making great progress on the baker building. It's been interesting watching a building I've worked in day by day be removed and the ground lowered. Certainly kept my drone busy this summer! Summer is hard work but very rewarding and it will soon be coming to an end!

  • It's not all demolition at Wring Group Ltd. Here we are tracking in recycled stone from our previous demolition works following the excavation, validation and remediation of hazardous soils significantly impacted with hydrocarbons. All arisings have gone to a soil treatment facility, avoiding landfill. A win environmentally, economically and to the local ecology (and for our client!) If you have any contaminated land issues of any scale let our Remediation Team take a look for you. #remediation #contaminatedland #brownfield #excavator #demolition

  • Another day another chimney stack! As we near completion on this MOD site we can share this sequence of the demise of the final chimney stack. As always, all hardcore arisings are being transferred to a recycling facility to be processed for future use! We have used dust suppression to minimise emissions, receiving no complaints in the middle of an active operating site during the hottest days of the year! Top work. #Demolition #Dust #Recycling #Environment #Construction
