About us
Wycombe Museum is a local history museum managed by Wycombe Heritage and Arts Trust. It is located in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Founded in 1875 Wycombe Museum has developed from a small section of the Free Library to a popular local Museum with hands-on galleries, and a new café and shop. Wycombe Museum is a family friendly museum that explores the history of Wycombe District. Famous for its chair collection, the Museum includes ‘The History of Wycombe in 10 Objects’, our Art Gallery, a 1920’s kitchen and changing temporary exhibitions. The museum is located in a Grade II listed house with parts dating from the 1600s and is surrounded by a beautiful big garden which is great for exploring.
