HR Apprentices recently had the privilege of attending an inspiring masterclass led by our exceptional HR Director, Clare Hammond-Sayer. Through her captivating storytelling and personal journey, Clare ignited a spark in the next generation of HR leaders. Clare's life is a tapestry of excitement, travel, and professional fulfilment. Growing up in the vibrant cities of Singapore and Hong Kong, she began her career in retail recruitment before discovering her passion for the defence recruitment sector. Fast forward to 2009, after several years of professional practice in Abu Dhabi, we were fortunate to welcome Clare back to the UK. Her dedication to HR led her to join Yeovil College as the Director of People and Compliance in March 2024. Clare is proud to support learners, colleagues, and community stakeholders with her expertise and passion. Clare's journey is truly inspiring, and her masterclass was a wonderful experience for all. Expanding Digital Dental Apprenticeships in Leicester! As part of our strategic initiative to advance digital dentistry across the UK, we are thrilled to announce our expansion! In collaboration with NHS England and Ivoclar, we will be hosting a business support event on 22nd January 2025. This event will focus on providing free CPD, addressing educational and training challenges, developing future skills, and supporting the dental industry’s growth through education. Yeovil College offers a comprehensive range of digital dental apprenticeships, from Level 3 to Level 6, and we are now ready to extend our reach even further. This partnership reflects our continued commitment to excellence in technical education, regional collaboration, and addressing critical skills gaps.
